We are on a mission to create something out of this world...
On Sunday 14th July, Shetland Space Centre alongside B2Space will launch a stratospheric balloon into space, from Baltasound Airport in Unst, just a stones throw away from our distillery.
The balloon will be equipped with trackers, control boards and most importantly, a vacuum pack full of our Original Gin's Botanicals, that will be used to make a small batch of gin that should be out of this world.

Local marine engineering firm Ocean Kinetics is supplying a boat to retrieve the balloon when it lands off the coast, while Unst company Pure Energy is also actively supporting the project.
