Celebrate Shetland's rich Viking heritage with our 2025 Limited Edition Up Helly Aa Gin, crafted to honour the annual Up Helly Aa fire festival.

Each year, we release a unique Up Helly Aa gin, often experimenting with different cask ageing processes and botanicals to create a distinct flavour profile.

This year's special release is crafted using our signature Simmer Gin as the base which has been rested in a cask which had previously held nut-free Amaretto, creating a rich and complex flavour profile.

The end result is another spectacular Up Helly Aa gin that can be enjoyed at home or added to the collections of those who have been celebrating our Up Helly Aa journey since 2015.

Tasting Notes

• On the Nose: Vibrant and aromatic, with bold juniper notes complemented by delicate hints of almond, vanilla, and citrus.
• On the Palate: A beautifully balanced gin where juniper and bright citrus shine through, followed by a smooth caramel sweetness, a subtle hint of spice, and a luxurious depth of ground nut-like richness—without any actual nuts.

This exclusive edition is perfect for sipping neat, enjoying in a premium G&T, or crafting into a signature cocktail to toast the fiery spirit of Up Helly Aa.

For the perfect serve, pour 50ml of Up Helly Aa 2025 Gin over ice, top with Fever-Tree Spiced Orange Ginger Ale, and garnish with a fresh sprig of rosemary and a slice of orange. A bold and aromatic serve that beautifully enhances the gin’s rich, sweet & subtle spices, and citrus notes.
